I just joined face book where have I been?  I think that is so cool.  A great way to communicate a nicer way than emailing I think.  A lot more colorful and fun to see peoples pictures and who is communicating with who. 

Boy I realize how far behind the times I am with social networking!

I need to get with the program and start flappin my yap the new way.  It always seemed to make me nervous adventuring out on social pages for some reason.  Now it is a blast, I just need to do it more, yahooooooo......

I just had some wonderful findings today.  I got up early this morning and decided I want to go on a hunt.  I need some fun pieces to add to my jewelry collections.  Before going out the door my thought was go to the stores that are going out of business and see what I can find.   There are a lot of stores that are closing their doors and it is really sad to me.  So to change the sad to happy go see what kind of sales I can find. 

It took me a while but I found a large gift store with lots of great things but very expensive, even with a sale going on.  I know if I looked hard enough I would find something I like and I did.

So next week I will start using my new finds and make some jewelry and finish my new website I have been building just for my jewelry.   I will post some images once I have them.

I started doing recycle jewelry because I could not picture someones' once cherished item sitting in a land fill for who knows how long.

I know we all save jewelry in our draw or jewelry boxesthat we bought and got sick of.   Or perhaps someone gave it to us and we just don't wear it anymore because of one reason or another.

You may have a grandparents or a piece of jewelry given to you and you just don't have the heart to throw it away so it just sits there.

Well I decided not to let it sit there anymore taking up space yep lets do something with it.  So this is where I stand now and it is something to take a piece of jewelry apart and make something totally new with it.  At least it does not get thrown away.

I would love to collect any jewelry that no ones wants no matter what it is.  I take the old and put it with the new and presto a new creative design made by me.

Any one has any ideas on where to look for jewelry that is lonely sitting out there with nothing to do I would love to know where it is!
